The runes are 24 ancient symbols that form the Furthark: the ancient Celtic alphabet from which the German language derives.
They are signs rich in meaning linked to the collective unconscious. each rune represents a moment in Man's life: sowing, harvest, war, family, joy, love, friendship, fertility, death...
Each is also connected to an element of nature: water, the sun, ice, the yew tree, the cyclical nature of the seasons...
Wearing a rune means looking inside yourself and expressing all the symbolic potential that it contains.
The runic alphabet can be divided into three Aettir or families, in this section we present the first one called Aett of Heimdall.
This section of 8 runes represents the symbols of the great trials of life, those trials that bring us into contact with the profound meaning of existence.
Each pendant is handmade by Magal in the goldsmith's workshop in Vicenza.
The material used is 925 silver worked by fire and hammer.
The runic pendants can be worn with the black leather cord, the colored silk cord or the silver nugget cord.
You can select the chosen rune from the drop-down menu.
These are eight runes of the Aett of Heimdall:

HAGALAZ. It is the rune that represents hail, the breaking of the patterns of the known. It's the unexpected. The fury of nature that leads to change and renewal after having made a clean sweep.

NAUTHIZ. It is a difficult rune, it indicates suffering and oppression, inability to act and react, it puts us face to face with the darkness of our soul. It reminds us that we have to deal with ourselves and our inner monsters. Nauthiz represents the ultimate test to develop willpower.

ISA.

It represents ice, staticity, immobility, indolence and laziness. It is a symbol of a moment of stasis in life. As happens in winter under the ice, the sprout of a new life is being born. JERA. It represents the cyclical nature of existence. It reminds us that there is a time between sowing and harvest, so sometimes we need to be patient so that we can reap the fully ripe fruits. It is the bearer of evolution and change that will take place based on our choices and our trust in life.
